Every watch brand has a story. Ours begins with a simple conviction: that British motorsport deserved a watch brand of its own — one designed with genuine passion for the sport, not just its aesthetic.

Where It Started

Marchand Watch Company was founded with a clear purpose: to create affordable, well-engineered timepieces that honour Britain's extraordinary motorsport heritage. From the early days of Grand Prix racing at Silverstone to the modern era of the British Touring Car Championship, Britain has produced some of the world's greatest drivers, constructors, and circuits. We wanted to make watches worthy of that legacy.

The brand's early years were spent trackside — at F3 Cup events, BTCC rounds, and TCR UK races — understanding what motorsport enthusiasts actually wanted from a watch. Not a fashion accessory with a chequered flag on the dial, but a proper chronograph with real functionality, honest design, and a price that didn't require a second mortgage.

British Design, Swiss-Influenced Craft

Every Marchand watch is designed in Britain. Our design language draws directly from the visual vocabulary of motorsport: bold dials built for legibility, tachymeter bezels, rally-inspired straps, and colour palettes that reference the racing liveries of British motorsport's golden era.

Our movements are sourced from established Japanese and Swiss suppliers — including Miyota meca-quartz calibres that deliver the snap-action feel of a mechanical chronograph with the long-term reliability of quartz. It's a pragmatic choice that reflects our values: function first, without compromise on quality.

Our watch range has evolved significantly since our early Kickstarter campaigns. Today, the Marchand collection includes:

• The Driver Chronograph MkII Meca-Quartz — our flagship racing chronograph, designed for those who want a serious motorsport watch at an accessible price point
• The Esses GT Chronograph — a more refined take on the racing chronograph, named after the classic S-bend corners of the world's great circuits
